ANA PERELLÓ: PHOTOREALISM OR PAINTING TURNED VISIBLE REALITY.

Ana Perelló, born in Manacor in 1977, took drawing classes as a teenager, but later, she began to teach herself photorealism. The vision of the sea has influenced her because of the obvious proximity, attractiveness and beauty of her island of Mallorca.

The painter from Manacor works out of a need that the future generates around her, permanently conditioned by our actions and by something of that always unpredictable chance. But also, her main scenario is the portrait, capturing on canvas the different physiognomies down to the smallest detail. Distinguishing between a photograph and his painting is the main challenge for viewers. His work is extraordinary, amplifying on a canvas all the baggage that life has deposited in it and that he has known how to use in his artistic path.

To capture the image of a photograph requires enormous precision and a special gift, and Ana Perelló has it.

She knows how to reproduce every square centimetre exactly, with a great sharpness of focus, distributing the focal points in a surprising way. Her faces of everyday life in static and silent images tell stories of visible reality. In magnetic moments of work, he conveys with absolute formal precision.

Without any doubt, she has that something of soul that makes her great and transcends in her work.
